The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) organized the 60th Independence day parade in New York city which attracts thousands of people and is considered the biggest such event outside India. The great Indian comedian Johnny Lever, former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, Astronaut Sunita Williams were among the high profile guests of the day.
