RTYC New York and New Jersey organized the annual Pawo Thupten Ngodup Memorial Basketball Tournament at Williamsburg Community Center, Brooklyn on September 8 and 9, 2007. Boston team won the tournament by playing against MMC, New York in a tightly scored competition which went on to extra time. MMC was initially on top of the Boston till the last minutes but their expensive fouls cost them heavily by giving Boston a chance to shoot many free throws at the nick of time which helped Boston win the tournament. Though Boston is not far from New York, but their coming to New York paid off well this time.
