TIBETAN GIRL

This cute little Tibetan girl was the center of attraction during the ceremonial function in commemorating 18th anniversary of the conferment of Nobel Peace Prize to His Holiness the Dalai Lama held few days back at New York City. Whenever she get chances to go to the stage, she grabs the microphone and pretends to sing and dance with the tune of music played in the background. The crowd was fascinated by her enthusiasm in music that they were telling themselves that this little girl will very soon be on stage singing Tibetan songs to entertain the crowds. These days, many Tibetan youngsters in the west are taking interest in Tibetan culture and traditions which is good sign of preserving the endangered aged-old tradition. His Holiness the Dalai Lama recently protested the Chinese' hard line policy on Tibet which threatens to wipe out Tibetan culture and tradition, and if the situation remains, the Tibetan culture will die within 10 to 15 years from now.
